DATE: Saturday, April 19, 2025

TIME: Race begins at 9 a.m. – race site opens at 7 a.m. for packet pick-up

LOCATION: Dunham Forest Preserve Wayne, IL 60184

COURSE: The 3.1-mile race will loop around the park’s lake, with the start and finish lines both on the trail’s northmost entrance south of Army Trail Road. There will be one hydration aid station at the halfway point.

START WAVES: Participants will be self-seeded in the start area based on their anticipated pace. Please locate the signs that are associated with your anticipated pace and line up there prior to the race start. The start area will open at 8:45 a.m. Participants must cross the finish line prior to 10:45 a.m., maintaining a 30-minute-per mile pace.

PARKING: Participants can park at Wayne Elementary School, located at 5N443 School Street, Wayne, IL 

REGISTRATION FEES: The $35 registration fee includes participant bib and finisher t-shirt. Kids 8 and under are free to participate. Participants have the option to fundraise additional to support Fostering Success through Pledge.

PACKET PICK-UP: Beginning at 7 a.m. on race morning, participants can pick up their bibs and t-shirts. 

GEAR CHECK: We will provide an area for participants to check their gear during the race. Please bring your own bag as bags will not be provided. 

FINISH LINE: Post-race refreshments will be available after the finish line. Participants, friends and family are encouraged to stay and hangout in the park and cheer on kids at the kids dash.
